Château Sainte Roseline
Nestled in the beautiful region of Les Arcs, Provence, the 13th century Château is one of eighteen prestigious Provence Cru Classé estates.
It is told that one famine-stricken winter in the 13th century, Roseline de Villeneuve, eldest daughter of the lord of Les Arcs, was caught stealing from the family’s reserves to give to the poor. When ordered to show what she was hiding in her apron, an armful of roses fell out.
The devout Roseline was made a saint in the 19th century and her body rests in a crystal shrine in the village’s 12th century chapel.
Today, the estate comprises of 110 hectares of prime-estate vineyards dedicated to responsible and sustainable practices during its conversion to organic agriculture.
Roseline Prestige Côtes de Provence Rosé is the icon of the range, presented in a beautiful bespoke rose-crested bottle and sealed with a glass stopper. The wine perfectly captures the essence of Provence rosé with its chic pale pink colour, delicate fruit aromas and elegant minerality.
